Owners Stay Privileges

When your furnished apartment is professionally managed by Waldorf, you and your nominated family members can enjoy unique accommodation privileges for up to 28 nights in a calendar year. 

The Waldorf Accommodation Exchange:

Those eligible for this program – you must have a furnished apartment under Waldorf management - can fully enjoy Waldorf accommodation in any similarly sized Waldorf managed serviced apartment in Australia and New Zealand in return for loss of equivalent rental.

The arrangement is based on trading the income (rental) from your apartment for days or weeks in a similar sized Waldorf Apartment.

The arrangement is subject to availability and does not include peak time accommodation. Optional charges including telephone, internet and food & beverage will be charged to your account. A once off service & cleaning fee is payable directly to the property upon check-in depending on the size of the unit.

How do you take full advantage of the Waldorf X-Change?

All reservation enquiries must be made directly through the online enquiry form. Requests via phone or email will not be accepted or confirmed. These accommodation privileges are suitable for both holiday and business travellers and are amiable only to owners of furnished apartments under the Waldorf Management. All stays are subject to availability at the time of booking and it’s recommend that bookings are made at least 30 days in advance from your intended date of arrival.

Terms and Conditions

All owner stay reservation requests must be made through the online enquiry form. Requests via phone, email or directly to the individual property manager will not be accepted or confirmed. All owner stay requests must be pre-booked in advance and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Blackout dates and minimum night stays may apply for each specific property and owner stays are not valid over public holidays, during long weekends and over special event periods. All requests are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email from the requested property.  A once off service & cleaning fee is payable directly to the property upon check-in. Please note that this charge is unable to be deducted from your weekly rent. Service & cleaning Fees for all Waldorf NSW/ACT properties are as follows: Studio Apartment / Hotel Room - $50.00. 1 Bedroom Apartment - $60.00. 2 Bedroom Apartment - $75.00. 3 Bedroom Apartment - $100.00. For all stays over 7 days an additional service & utilities fee will apply of $10 per day which is also payable directly to the property and unable to be deducted from your weekly rent.

In addition to the above Terms and Conditions, the below points apply.

  1. An Owners stay is subject to availability and at Waldorf’s sole discretion and excludes peak times.
  2. Owners can utilize their stay privilege in their own apartment if possible or in a similar apartment in the same complex as well as in any other Waldorf complexes in Auckland, Sydney, Canberra, and the Central Coast and Perth.
  3. Room Rates: 
    For owners under guaranteed rental agreement- the rate will be equal to the daily rental income from their apartment.
    For owners under non guaranteed rental agreement-the rate will be based on the rate of the day with the 20% discount.
    Waldorf Australia Group owners( Reciprocal Stay)- the rate will be based on their existing agreement converted into NZD ( exchange rate on the arrival date).
  4. Owners will be charged for one off cleaning charge of NZD50, any in house dining, for telephone and internet usage and parking during their stay.
  5.  Any damage to the apartment will be charged to owners account.
  6. Owners should submit request for an ‘Owners stay’ via the General Manager of the complex in which they own an apartment. The request needs to be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance from the intended date of stay.
  7. Owners stay privileges are available to all Waldorf managed units (Guaranteed/ Non Guaranteed rental agreement/ units managed by Waldorf Australia Group (Reciprocal Stay).
  8. Owners will be allocated, subject to availability and at Waldorf’s sole discretion, a similar type apartment to the one they own i.e. 2 bedroom apartment owners will be allocated a 2 bedroom apartment.
  9. This privilege can be used by the owners themselves and immediate family only.
  10. The maximum period of stay on the Owners privilege scheme is 14 nights per year.
  11. Payment method options: upon arrival/ check out or rental deduction.
  12. If owners wish to stay at Waldorf complexes in Sydney, Canberra, and the Central Coast and Perth, the rules on owners stay privileges for reciprocal stay of Waldorf Australia Group shall prevail. This privilege is not available to owners under non guaranteed rental agreement.
